You do not need to let yourself get stressed.
You do not need to let yourself get stressed.
You do not need to let yourself get stressed.
You do not need to let yourself get stressed.
Relax.
Okay. So the house is now a huge mess because it got flooded.
Okay. So your table and bar are buried in the reset materials you are trying to get organized so that the re-set can be expedited.
Okay. So you have to start thinking of how you're going to get dinner cooked for company tomorrow... and get this mess under control.
Okay. So you also need to get to the store before it closes to buy the rest of the food you will need to fix for dinner tomorrow.
Okay. So you just remembered that TODAY IS THE DAY that you PROMISED you'd call Kali back and it's getting late. She'll soon be in bed. Have to get it done.
And oh, don't forget, you PROMISED Tim that this week you would come and get the kids and take them to Sunday School which means you will have to leave EARLY.
If you go to bed very late, you sure won't be wanting to get up earlier.
And oh, by the way, if you're going to take four little kids to church tomorrow, you better have something to keep them occupied.
You do not need to let yourself get stressed.
You do not need to let yourself get stressed.
Just take one thing at a time.
Do what you can.
Move on.
Do the next.
Relax.
Oh, and REMIND YOURSELF that even before you had time to think of how you'd solve your problem of no washer, out of the blue your brother (Fred) called to check on you and after you'd given him the lowdown on your day, he said: Go out and buy yourself a new washer AND DRIER and tell me what they cost and I'll send you a check to pay for them.
WOW.
So I'm sitting here reminding myself to breathe deeply and do one thing at a time and don't get stressed.
