My "Studying" Paid Off

I made a hundred on the cashier test.   My manager was very surprised.   I didn't tell him I had studied for it.  Since it is so hard to impress him, I felt like I'd just leave well enough alone and let him think I'm smarter than I really am.   That might strike some kind of balance because I've sure got the feelings my some of his comments  in the past that he sometimes thinks I am not as smart as I am.  (I really think sometimes that they are scared to tell us we're doing a good job because they think if they do we might think we're "good enough" and not keep on pushing to be better and faster and better and faster and better and faster.... get the point?)
