I got to be with most of my grandkids on Christmas. After a wonderful day together, Blake, Sam, and Zacky came and spent the night with me. I was really much too tired to be an entertaining grandma, but they had a good time together, playing games, building tents, reading books, and using their imaginations. Jeni had sent ham (in rolls) and macaroni and cheese, left from dinner, so that I wouldn't have to worry about what to feed them. They were happy.
( I don't have to go into work today until 12 so having them come was workable. If I have to be there by 8, it's not a good plan to have overnight visitors. I have a hard enough time just doing what I have to do myself and getting out the door by 7:15.)
