my opportunity to work some overtime.
We generally only get overtime in December and right before inventory in January. After inventory, our hours often get cut back to 35 a week. So for the sake of having money to pay things like my house insurance and other odd things that come up in life, I try to work all the overtime I am given the chance to work in December and January.
Yesterday as I was telling my boss how to handle something-- because I would be off today-- he asked me if I wanted to work. I said, "YES! But I'll have to work it around Jeni's appointment." So he said I could come in earlier than usual.
From now until inventory is done, things will probably be pretty hectic for us.
