I LOVED my job for so long that it has been a tough adjustment for me to face days that I was counting the time until they were over.
But that seems to be behind me now.
I sure hope so.
The District Manager got promoted.
Other things seem to have worked out well enough that we have ceased to be "under the gun" in such a constant way.
Pressure off management translates into pressure off the peons-- me being one of them.
Anyway, it's just nice to not mind going to work again. It's nice to not be looking at my watch every little bit to see how much of the day is left before I can leave.
I'm glad because I'll probably have to work for a long, long time.
